Abstract
Basal cell epithelioma is the most common skin carcinoma. It rarely metastasize, therefore a majority of basal cell epithelioma can be cured with simple treatment approach. But basal cell epitheliomas are seen almostly on the face, we should consider cosmetic effect when treatment is performed.
We experienced a 68-year old male patient who had single thumb-tip sized tumor mass developing on the left nasal root. The histopathologic finding was identical to the solid type of basal cell epithelioma.
Good cosmetic result was obtained after we treated him with surgical excision and full thickness skin graft.
